Ask Me Anything (AMA) with manager, Rebecca Lyle from Authentic Talent & Literary Management

Ever wanted to pick the brain of a high level manager? Want to know the real answers to those questions you can't seem to ask your own rep? Here's your chance!!

I'm hosting a serious brain-picking session with manager Rebecca Lyle of the esteemed talent and literary management company, Authentic. (See just how esteemed here:

It's a Reddit-style AMA: I'll have a list of questions and I'd love you to send me yours in advance too. Rebecca has promised to dive deep into topics that are most influential to the success of her company's clients. This will be a highly insightful night for actors, writers and people interested in repping those artists too.

More on Rebecca: Originally from Louisville, KY, Rebecca grew up with a love for film, spending many evenings watching old movies with her family. After attending college at Miami University, she moved to Los Angeles with a spot in the prestigious NBC Page Program. Six short months later she secured a job in Marketing at Paramount Pictures. Still feeling like she hadn’t quite found the right job for her in the entertainment industry she follow a hunch (and the encouragement of friends and family) to pursue talent representation. Within her first few weeks at Authentic she realized this is what she was meant to do and very quickly moved from Assistant to Coordinator to Manager. Rebecca loves working with actors to develop their career and talents, watching them succeed is one of her great joys in life.

The evening will be a casual gathering...meaning bring some wine and snacks to share! If there's a huge interest, I can open up double the seating, so sign up now to let me know if that's what the group wants. We'll meet downtown, 3 blocks from the Pershing Sq subway! I set the start time at 6:30, although it'll probably be closer to 7 when Rebecca and I get started. I hope you'll join us!
