Stop Waiting to Make Your Indie Film
Are you tired of jumping through hoops trying to get your film off the ground? Or perhaps you are a creative who dreams of making your own film, but you're not sure how to make it happen?
In this introductory workshop, I'll share step by step how to develop and raise finance for your indie film. Based on what we teach at the Rebel Heart Film Workshop (www.rebelheartfilm.com), we'll cover:
- the importance of momentum and how to get it going
- the package you need to create to entice investors
- how to make a concept trailer that hooks in financiers
- where to find the money
- strategies for sucessfully raising finance
This class will be taught by me, Diane Bell (bio below). The teachings are not based on theory but on my real life experiences making three feature films in the last six years. You will leave with a clear plan of how to get your own stand out indie film off the ground and the inspiration to do it! Taking the leap to making my own film in 2009 changed my life - if you've been waiting for it to happen, stop waiting and make it happen yourself.
PS although the workshop will be 2 hours, plan on staying another hour at the end for refreshments and chat. I'd love to hear about your projects and help you get them going!
